Barbara hament
Founder & Certified Geriatric Care Manager
Barbara brings over 30 years of expertise in geriatric care, specializing in dementia support. As a pioneer in the field, she offers professional caregiving services to older adults and families in Los Angeles and beyond. Barbara leads caregiver support groups for Alzheimer’s LA and UCLA’s Easton Center for Alzheimer’s Disease Research, including those focused on Lewy Body Dementia. She also advises OPICA Adult Day Care Services, an Adult Day Program & Counseling Center for dementia care. Barbara holds an MSW from the University of Southern California.
Barbara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Care Manager and is an Advanced Professional Member of the Aging Life Care Association.
Wendy saltzburg
Certified Geriatric Care Manager
Wendy's dedication to geriatric care stems from her personal experience caring for her mother with pancreatic cancer, igniting her life's mission to assist others. Formerly managing director at Leeza's Care Connection, she collaborated with Providence St. Joseph Hospital to support families dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.
Wendy is a Certified Positive Approach to Care (PAC) Dementia Trainer, Alzheimer's Association facilitator, Alzheimer's Foundation of America Partner in Care, and certified Care Manager.
Deborah casillas
Registered Nurse & Geriatric Care Manager
Deborah brings over a decade of experience in nursing to her current role as a Case Management Nurse where her skills in teaching, patient care, and health and wellness truly come to life. In her previous position as a Hospice RN, she honed her abilities to deliver exceptional care and support to patients and their families. As a Registered Nurse, Aging Life Care Professional, and trained end-of-life Doula, she is committed to advancing the field of elder care through innovative and empathetic case management.
madeleine Buffone
Operations Manager & Licensed Social Worker
Madeleine currently serves as the Operations Manager, where she combines her project management expertise with her clinical training in geriatric care. Before earning her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University, she worked in project management, focusing on process improvement. During her studies, she gained experience in palliative care and with the NYC Department for the Aging, further fueling her passion for supporting older adults. In her current role, she leverages both her operational expertise and clinical background to enhance service delivery and client care.
