Barbara Hament, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Geriatric Care Manager (CMC) has had a long and rich career working with older adults and their families as the lead Social Worker at The Center for Geriatric Health at Olympia Medical Center – a multidisciplinary team who pioneered a coordinated approach to the management of multiple and chronic health issues with seniors.  

For many years, Barbara has co-facilitated The Memory Club and Grad Club at Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles.  She is on the Advisory Board of OPICA Adult Day Care Center.  She also leads caregiver support groups at The Easton Center for Alzheimer’s Disease Research at UCLA.  




Elizabeth Malloy, MSW and Certified Dementia Professional (CDP), came to geriatric care management after personal experience managing the health issues of her parents from across the country.   Prior to this she had a varied career in business, with a focus on Russian real estate development and finance.  

Elizabeth received her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California with a focus on older adults.  Elizabeth is also trained in elder mediation. 

Elizabeth received her BA from Harvard in Soviet Studies and also holds an MA  in economics from Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies and an MS from the Colorado School of Mines.
